Meet The Band
Sister Karee & The Other Brothers are a 6-piece band and a powerhouse of talent, energy, and pure musical magic, and we're here to make your event unforgettable!
Karee Miller doesn't just sing—she testifies. With a voice steeped in soul and R&B swagger, she brings every song to life with grit, groove, and pure fire. From silky smooth melodies to powerhouse anthems, her energy is infectious, her presence electric, and when she's on the mic, the stage transforms into a full-blown revival.
John Pansewicz (JP) is a six-string force of nature—one moment he's melting faces with scorching rock solos, the next he's dripping soul into a slow-burning R&B groove. When the funk kicks in, he lays down the kind of slick, rhythmic licks that make it impossible to stand still. Whether he's shredding, soaring, or straight-up jamming, JP brings the fire every time.
Mac Munro layers every groove with deep-pocket rhythms and percussive magic. Whether he's driving the beat with tight, funky precision or adding texture with congas, shakers, and all things that rattle, he knows how to lock in and elevate the vibe. With an instinct for feel and an energy that never quits, Mac keeps the rhythm rolling and the crowd moving all night long.
Marshall Davis lays down the low end with his serious groove that keeps the rhythm locked and the crowd moving. A master of pocket and feel, he locks in tight, whether he's thumping out deep, funky bass lines, driving a rock anthem, or laying it down smooth for an R&B slow jam. His playing doesn't just hold the rhythm—it moves it, giving every song that extra bounce and soul.
Galen Karnatz is the band's secret weapon on keys, weaving rich textures, funky clavinet riffs, and soulful organ swells into every song. Whether he's laying down a smooth Rhodes groove, tearing through a rock 'n' roll piano solo, or adding that deep-pocket funk, Galen's playing brings the sound to life. With a killer ear and an instinct for the perfect vibe, he's the glue that ties it all together.
Liam O'Neill is the engine that keeps the band roaring, delivering rock-solid grooves with effortless feel and high-energy precision. Whether he's laying down a deep funk pocket, driving a rock anthem, or finessing a smooth R&B groove, his drumming is all about power, soul, and impeccable timing. With a dynamic touch and a knack for keeping the crowd moving, Liam doesn’t just play the beat—he makes it hit.
A Little Jackson Hole History
Back in 2004, Karee's sister Candice invited her to join her band in the Tetons, named Mandatory Air. The band became an 8-piece with Karee joining her sister on lead and backup vocals, and the band became a legend in Jackson Hole. They rocked the Tetons for 13 years. Here are a few of our favorite videos from that time.
Mandatory Air was all about bringing the party to life—wherever the road (or the sky) took us! We tore it up on tour all the way to Alaska, rocked Lisa Marie Presley's 40th birthday bash in California, and owned the stage at every wild throwdown in Jackson Hole and around the Tetons. If you really want the inside scoop, ask the old-schoolers about the legendary Heck of a Hill party—if they can still remember it!
Take Me Home - Our Album of Originals
We did have a lot of fun one winter recording a record; snowed in, fueled by late-night jam sessions, and the kind of creative chaos that only comes from a band locked in a studio with nowhere to go but deeper into the groove. You can find it here on Spotify.
